The Work That Reconnects

7th March @ 9:15 am - 5:00 pm

The Work That Reconnects offers people a powerful way to explore and process together the strong feelings that are surfacing in the face of our ecological and social crises. Starting from gratitude, the Work that Reconnects explores these deep emotions in ways that can enable new ways of seeing, feeling and taking action. The workshop is based on experiential processes developed by Joanna Macy and her colleagues, sometimes known as “Despair and Empowerment” (see https://www.joannamacy.net/main).

Booking is essential as places are limited.

  • Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, preferably a plate to share

  • Please bring a cushion to sit on (chairs provided) and a sunhat for outdoor activity
  • A donation of $10 would be welcome

Clare Power is an educator and has trained with Joanna Macy in the Work that Reconnects. Tom Colley is an activist and researches social capacity for ecological action
